What "crossover" means
For years, choosing a Glock 9mm meant picking a size: the full-size Glock 17 or the compact Glock 19. A crossover mixes the two. The Glock 45 puts a Glock 19-length slide on a full-size grip. The Glock 47 keeps a full-size slide but was engineered so its slide interchanges with the Glock 19 and 45, a feature U.S. Customs and Border Protection requested when it selected the pistol.
